Download and install the latest NovaLCT version
Older versions of NovaLCT sometimes have issues when connecting to the Novastar. You may get errors like "no underlying service". Therefore, to exclude such issues, ensure you are running the latest version.
- Go to https://www.novastar.tech/downloads/
- Navigate to Software
- Download the latest version of NovaLCT
- Extract the archive you just downloaded
- Run the installer and confirm the driver installation

Attach the Novastar to your computer
- Use the USB cable that comes with the Novastar
- Attach the USB Type B side to the backside of the Novastar
- Attach the USB Type A side to your PC
Reconfigure the LED wall
- Start NovaLCT application
- Go to User > Advanced Synchronous System UserLogin and enter the default password 666
- A new button Screen Configuration appears, click it.
- In the modal that appears, make sure that
- The USB connection is detected in the Communication Port settings.
- Configure Screen is selected
- Click Next.
- Select the tab Receiving Card and click on the button Load from PC
- Select the RCFGX file on the USB stick that was delivered with the LED wall. If there are multiple RCFGX files, use the one with 6000 in its filename.
- Send the Configuration by clicking Send to Receiving Cards
- Make sure All Receiving Cards is selected and click Send
- Wait until the transmission is completed
