Manage user access to your system

Give other users access to operate your system through the web admin, edit their permissions and transfer ownership

Give other people access to your system

You can give other users access to control your system, view analytics and change settings. This is useful if multiple people need to operate your system. To grant access, make sure you are either the Owner or a System Admin of the system.

  1. Sign in to the admin and open your system overview.

  2. Find your system, then click Open dashboard.

  3. Open the Settings tab and find the Users category.

  4. Click Add people, then enter the email address of the person you would like to add to your system. If the person you are trying to add already has an account with us, you can select it directly. If not, you can send an invitation to their email inbox.

  5. After choosing a user, select which role to grant the new user. Refer to the section User Roles for more information.

Edit user access to your system

  1. Navigate to the Users section as described in section Give other people access to your system
  2. The table Users lists all accounts with access to your system.

    1. To change the role of a user, click the edit button and select the intended user role.
    2. To revoke all access of a user, click the delete button.

User Roles

There are a number of roles you can assign to your users, which determine the parts of ✔your system the user can access. In general, it is better to only grant users access to the functions they really need.

  • Owner: The most powerful users of your system. Owners can change all system settings and fully control the system. Owners can only be removed by other owners. Usually, there should be only one owner per system.
  • System Admin: Has full access to your system and all its settings. This role can also grant access to additional users. Make sure to only grant this role to people you trust.
  • Operator: Has all abilities needed for daily operations, so a good role for a front desk operator. This role does not have the ability to add or remove other users and it does not have the ability to make subscription purchases.
  • Distributor: This role is usually assigned to a distributor or service partner that manages your system. They can only see your system health and submit support tickets for your system.
  • User: This role only has the ability to switch games on your system. This is useful if you want give your players the option to switch games through the web admin, but still want to keep control over the rest of your system.
  • Analyst: Can view usage and game statistics of your system. This is useful if you want to share statistics access with other people.
